Honda Car's Stellar Export Surge in 2024: A Glimpse into Global Growth

In a notable performance, Honda Cars India Ltd has reported a significant 20 percent growth in sales for the year 2024, totaling 1,31,871 units, up from 1,10,143 units in 2023.
The company experienced an 18.55 percent decline in domestic sales, selling 68,650 units compared to 84,289 in the previous year. However, it was Honda's export performance that stood out, with exports more than doubling from 25,854 units in 2023 to 63,221 units in 2024.
Vice President of Marketing & Sales, Kunal Behl, described 2024 as a 'mixed bag' for the domestic market due to challenges in generating fresh demand. Despite this, the company achieved its highest-ever export figures, largely boosted by the Honda Elevate SUV. Behl expressed optimism for 2025 with the launch of new models like Amaze, reinforcing their commitment to the Indian market.
