Mock Drill Tests Emergency Readiness at Qazigund Railway

On Tuesday, security forces executed a mock drill at Qazigund railway station in South Kashmir. This drill was designed to evaluate the emergency response mechanisms and readiness to tackle critical situations such as potential terror attacks.
A police spokesperson stated, "Police along with CAPF, RPF, Fire and Emergency service in Kulgam conducted the mock exercise at Railway Station Qazigund. The objective was to gauge emergency responses and preparedness in managing critical situations."
The mock drill, involving a team of specialist officers, comes in anticipation of the Udhampur-Banihal rail link's inauguration, set to enhance direct train services from Kashmir to the rest of India.
