Data Patterns (India) Ltd, a notable player in the defence and aerospace electronics sector, posted a profit after tax of Rs 30.28 crore for the July-September 2024 quarter, according to a company announcement. This marks a decrease from the Rs 33.79 crore profit recorded in the same quarter last year.

For the half-year ending September 30, 2024, the company's profit after tax was Rs 63.07 crore, improving from Rs 59.62 crore for the corresponding period in the previous year. Chairman and Managing Director Srinivasagopalan Rangarajan stated that the company witnessed improved margins thanks to operational efficiency and favorable product mix, despite revenue impact due to deferred delivery schedules.

The company's total income fell to Rs 103.06 crore for the quarter, down from Rs 119.15 crore year-over-year. However, with an order book valued at Rs 1,053.22 crore, Data Patterns anticipates improved order inflow in the latter half of the fiscal year, sustaining growth and profitability.
