King Charles and Queen Camilla made a surprise visit to India during their return from a tour of Australia and Samoa, Buckingham Palace announced. The couple stayed at Soukya International Holistic Health Centre, engaging in yoga and meditation, amidst Charles's advocacy for alternative medicine.
Indian media reported the royal couple arrived in Bengaluru on October 27, opting for a private stay at Soukya to rejuvenate from their long travels. 'Their Majesties had a short private stopover in India to help break the long journey back from Samoa,' a spokesperson explained.
While the visit to the health center was for leisure, a royal source emphasized it was unrelated to Charles's cancer treatment, which will continue upon his return to the UK. The visit underscored Charles's commitment to wellness and alternative therapies.
