In a devastating incident on Friday, four individuals lost their lives and three others sustained injuries in a collision involving a Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) and an oil tanker in Ujjain district, Madhya Pradesh, according to local police reports.
The victims, returning to Indore after a pilgrimage in Ajmer, Rajasthan, were caught in the accident near Bedavanya village on Jaora-Nagda road, approximately 50 kilometers from the district headquarters. Officer Dhansingh Nalvaya of Khachrod police station reported the somber details to the media.
The injured were immediately transported to Indore for advanced medical care. Authorities have registered a case against the tanker driver, who fled the scene following the collision, leaving questions about accountability in the wake of this tragedy.
