The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways plans to boost Tripura's connectivity with projects worth Rs 2,800 crore, according to an official statement on Monday.

At a review meeting in New Delhi chaired by Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, Chief Minister Manik Saha, who also manages the PWD portfolio, discussed eight upcoming projects.

These projects include an Rs 800 crore allocation for the Agartala Eastern Bypass and Rs 1,500 crore for road widening efforts, among other developments aimed at enhancing trade and tourism.
