In a disturbing incident near Ullal, gravel and stones were deliberately placed on railway tracks, jeopardizing the safe passage of trains. On Sunday, official sources reported the discovery of the obstruction just kilometers away from Ullal, between Kapikad and Ganeshnagar.

The disturbance unfolded Saturday evening around 8:04 PM, when a local resident named Padma observed two suspicious individuals near the Tokkottu Overpass Bridge. Shortly after, a train to Kerala traversed the area, causing an unsettling noise that was initially attributed to regular traffic.

Upon investigation by residents and authorities, it became clear that it was an act of deliberate sabotage. The railway advisory committee and local police are now pressing for enhanced security, including CCTV installations, urging swift measures to prevent further disruptions.
