Bomb Threats Disrupt Mumbai Flights: Averted Chaos in the Skies
Three Mumbai-based international flights received bomb threats, prompting a diversion and delays. An Air India flight was redirected to New Delhi, and two IndiGo flights were delayed. No suspicious items were found on any aircraft after thorough security checks. Authorities are investigating the origin of these threats.

On Monday, three international flights originating from Mumbai faced bomb threats, leading to a diversion and significant delays. An Air India flight en route to New York was diverted to New Delhi, while two IndiGo flights were delayed for hours, though no suspicious items were discovered.
Air India's New York-bound Flight AI 119 was rerouted to Delhi following a specific security alert, as per government security regulatory committee instructions. All 258 onboard were subjected to security procedures. Meanwhile, two other IndiGo flights, heading to Muscat and Jeddah, also experienced similar threats.
Police confirmed thorough aircraft checks and declared nothing suspicious had been found. The bomb threats were reported from a microblogging platform, currently under investigation. Minister of State for Civil Aviation, Murlidhar Mohol, visited Delhi airport to oversee the situation and ensure passengers' safety and assistance.
