Varun Alagh, co-founder and CEO of Mamaearth, underscored the crucial role of market and consumer insights in the company's business strategy during his speech at the PHDCCI's 119th Annual Session. Alagh stated that consumer feedback has been pivotal in shaping Mamaearth's growth trajectory.

Discussing the influence of e-commerce and digital marketing, Alagh highlighted their impact in widening product access across various income demographics in India. He expressed confidence in the transformative effect of increasing female workforce participation on market categories in the coming decades, driven by growth in women's education.

Reflecting on the company's origins, Alagh shared that his and his wife Ghazal's experiences as parents in 2014 fueled their commitment to creating safe, toxin-free personal care products. Mamaearth, which was listed on the stock market in 2023, has demonstrated significant revenue growth, with a 28.6% increase in FY24.
