MP Rashid Advocates for 24/7 Rajwar Gate Access and Kulangam Bridge Repairs

Lok Sabha MP from Baramulla, Sheikh Abdul Rashid, has called for the Rajwar Gate in Handwara to remain open round-the-clock.
The request, directed at both civil and military authorities, aims to facilitate public movement, according to a spokesman from Rashid's Awami Ittehad Party.
In addition, Rashid raised the issue of the damaged Kulangam bridge with the Border Roads Organisation (BRO). The bridge, vital for local transport and economic activities, developed cracks recently. The BRO has assured that repairs will commence immediately.
