Shree Cement Partners with DPIIT to Boost Manufacturing Startups

Shree Cement Ltd has signed an MoU with DPIIT to support startups in the manufacturing sector. The partnership aims to provide infrastructure, mentorship, funding access, and market connections to product startups, with the goal of fostering innovation and promoting self-reliance in domestic manufacturing.

Shree Cement Ltd announced on Tuesday that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) to bolster support for startups in the manufacturing sector.

The partnership is designed to aid product startups by providing key resources such as infrastructure, mentorship, funding access, and market connections, ultimately guiding startups from prototype stages to potential international markets.

'Our collaboration with DPIIT underscores our dedication to nurturing innovation in the manufacturing industry. We believe this initiative will significantly contribute to promoting self-reliance through domestic manufacturing and reducing imports,' said Shree Cement Managing Director Neeraj Akhoury.
