Two-wheelers led the charge, showing a 22% increase with sales growing from 386,955 units last year to 471,792 units this year. Domestic two-wheeler sales surged by 23%, tallying at 369,138 units in September 2024. Motorcycles experienced a 23% growth, while scooter sales jumped by 20%. Notably, electric vehicle sales skyrocketed by 42%.

The international market also witnessed an uptick, with total exports rising by 11%. The second quarter sales performance also showcased a 15% growth in two-wheelers and a stable export market.
