Three workers tragically died from suffocation inside a diesel chamber at an animal feed manufacturing factory, as confirmed by police officials.

Approximately 45 minutes after the incident, local authorities were alerted. Multiple police units arrived at the scene to identify the deceased workers.

The bodies have been moved for post-mortem examination. Additional Superintendent of Police Chiranjeev Nath Sinha reported that the first worker entered the tank for cleaning and failed to return, leading to two additional workers to also go in but experienced fatal suffocation. Another attempt to rescue them also led other workers to experience suffocation.

Following an immediate alert, the factory management rescued the workers, who were later pronounced dead at the community health centre in Deva.

Circle Officer (city) Sumit Kumar Tripathi confirmed the police's ongoing efforts to identify the deceased.
