Awfis Expands Into GIFT City with New Coworking Centre

Awfis, a provider of flexible workspaces, has launched a new coworking centre in Gujarat International Finance Tec-City (GIFT City), Gandhinagar. This expansion brings the company's total built-up area in Ahmedabad to approximately 83,500 square feet. Awfis aims to extend its reach across India with plans for 40,000 new seats this fiscal year.

Awfis, a notable provider of flexible workspaces, has inaugurated its latest coworking centre in the Gujarat International Finance Tec-City (GIFT City) in Gandhinagar.

The newly opened centre encompasses a built-up area of 30,221 square feet, adding to the company's extensive presence in Ahmedabad, now totaling approximately 83,500 square feet.

"Flex space is undeniably the future of the commercial real estate sector, offering flexibility and scalability that modern businesses need," said Amit Ramani, Chairman and Managing Director of Awfis Space Solutions Ltd. He added that their expansion into GIFT City significantly bolsters Awfis' value proposition by strengthening its footprint in Ahmedabad and across the nation, placing the company at the core of India's burgeoning financial and technology hubs.

Awfis intends to further grow its footprint in India by adding 40,000 new seats during this fiscal year, aiming for a total of 1,35,000 seats by the year's end. Awfis Space Solutions Ltd, a publicly listed entity, currently operates in 17 cities with over 175 centres.
