Heartwarming Donation Event Brings Joy to Orphans in Chennai

On September 7, 2024, the International Youth Development Fund and Thirumalai Gas Mechanic Services held a donation event at Hope Children's Home, Chennai. On September 7, 2024, the International Youth Development Fund (IYDF) teamed up with Thirumalai Gas Mechanic Services to host a donation event at Hope Children's Home in Maduravoyal, Chennai. The event aimed to provide 76 orphans with essential supplies, educational materials, and recreational equipment, led by Durai Murugan T.

Durai Murugan T, who spearheaded the initiative, expressed a deep sense of honor in contributing to the cause. Volunteers, including Siva Bala Murugan R, Punitha S, Saranya T, and Sanjai B, were instrumental in the event's success. They ensured the children received not just material support, but also emotional and social enrichment through interactive activities.

Hope Children's Home, managed by Mrs. Kala Vathi, was the main beneficiary. Mrs. Vathi highlighted the significant impact of the donations on the daily lives of the children. The donations included food supplies, personal care items, educational resources, health products, and recreational materials.

Beyond distributing supplies, the event fostered a sense of belonging and inclusion through various activities. Volunteers engaged the children in singing, games, and motivational talks.
