IYDF and Wish-Box Event Host Heartwarming Charity Event at Emmanuel Orphanage

On September 1, 2024, the International Youth Development Foundation (IYDF) and Wish-Box Event hosted a charity gathering at Emmanuel Orphanage in Pune. The event provided essential supplies, educational items, and recreational activities to 28 children, fostering joy and hope among the participants.

The International Youth Development Foundation (IYDF) teamed up with Wish-Box Event to host a charity event at Emmanuel Orphanage in Pune on the evening of September 1, 2024. The event, held between 5 to 8 PM, provided vital supplies to the children and brought a sense of joy and hope through interactive activities.

In an effort to support the 28 children at the orphanage, organizers distributed essential supplies including rice, lentils, peanuts, cooking oil, and seasonings. Additionally, educational materials and recreational items such as notebooks, pens, magnetic chess sets, cricket kits, hopscotch mats, and dartboards were provided. Juice, snacks, and hula hoops were also handed out, bringing smiles to the children's faces.

The day included a series of interactive activities designed to understand the children's aspirations and emotions. A Q&A game revealed the children's dreams and hopes for the future, fostering a deeper bond between the children and the volunteers. Enthusiastic participation in a hopscotch game also contributed to the children's physical fitness while ensuring a fun experience.

Tapan Sushil Singha reflected on the emotional impact of the event, noting that the children's dreams require ongoing encouragement. Volunteers were particularly moved by the children's expressions of missing their mothers. The volunteers promised to continue their support, acting as 'big brothers' and friends to the children.

Concluding the event, Tapan Sushil Singha emphasized the need for love and care, highlighting the volunteers' commitment to providing both material and emotional support. IYDF and Wish-Box Event remain dedicated to helping the children grow in a nurturing and loving environment.
