Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, in a high-level meeting with the US-India Business Council (USIBC) on Tuesday, reinforced the state's commitment to nurturing innovation, entrepreneurship, and sustainable growth.

"Karnataka is open for business. We welcome you to explore the great opportunities our state offers in sectors like information technology, biotechnology, and aerospace," said Siddaramaiah. He emphasized the state's readiness to co-create solutions for global challenges.

Speaking at a round-table discussion with the USIBC's global board at Vidhana Soudha, Siddaramaiah described Karnataka's efforts as a blueprint for a more interconnected and prosperous future. He pointed out the state's diverse resources, including a skilled workforce, natural wealth, and a robust start-up culture, with Bengaluru at its heart, dubbed as the Silicon Valley of India.

"Home to world-leading IT firms, biotechnology enterprises, and start-ups, Karnataka's policies support innovation, ease of doing business, and sustainable development," he added.
