The Magadh Express traveling from New Delhi to Islampur experienced a significant incident on Sunday when its coupling broke, causing the train to split into two. This occurred between Turiganj and Raghunathpur railway stations in Bihar's Buxar district, officials confirmed.

No passengers were harmed during the incident, which took place around 11:08 am according to railway authorities. The Chief Public Relation Officer (CPRO) of East Central Railway, Sharswati Chandra, stated that both rescue and technical teams were promptly dispatched to the scene to address the matter.

An official inquiry has been ordered to determine the precise cause of the coupling failure, with efforts underway to rectify the issue as swiftly as possible.
