A man named Ravinder has been arrested for allegedly killing his 20-year-old cousin and seriously injuring the victim's mother over a land dispute, police reported on Monday.
Ravinder, a resident of Islampur village, reportedly used a hammer in the violent attack that occurred last Tuesday at the victim's house. To avoid detection, he wore a mask and gloves.
Ravinder was apprehended on Saturday at Dwarka Expressway. During interrogation, he confessed to attacking the family due to a disagreement over a plot of land with the victim's father. He has been remanded in police custody for four days, said SHO of Sadar police station, Arjun Dev.
