In a move to facilitate late-night pandal-hopping during the Ganesh festival, operators of Mumbai's three metro lines have extended their service hours. The extension aims to offer better connectivity for devotees partaking in the ten-day festivities starting this Saturday.

Mumbai Metro One, which manages Line 1, announced that the last service from Versova to Ghatkopar will now depart at 12.10 am instead of 11.20 pm. Similarly, the last train from Ghatkopar to Versova will leave at 12.40 am instead of the earlier 11.45 pm schedule.

The Maha Mumbai Metro Operation Corporation Limited (MMMOCL), responsible for Metro Lines 2A and 7, revealed that the final metro services from Andheri West and Gundavali terminals will be extended by 30 minutes during the last six days of the festival. These services will now depart at 11.30 pm instead of 11 pm from September 11 to 17.
