Tamil Nadu Signs Landmark MoUs with Eaton & Assurant during CM Stalin's US Visit
During his US visit, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin signed MoUs with Eaton and Assurant for investments and job creation in Chennai. The government secured commitments from several top companies, including setting up a Global Capability Centre and an AI lab, with a vision for a $1 trillion economy by 2030.

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. K. Stalin's ongoing US trip has yielded significant agreements, including with Eaton for a ₹200 crore R&D and engineering centre in Chennai.
The state also signed a pact with Assurant for a Global Capability Centre, marking the insurer's first major facility in India. These deals, inked in Chicago on September 3, are part of a broader initiative to attract substantial foreign investment to Tamil Nadu.
Recent MoUs also include agreements with industry titans like Nokia, PayPal, and Google. Collectively, these investments aim to create 4,100 jobs and elevate Tamil Nadu towards achieving a USD one trillion economy by 2030.
