These orders, scheduled for execution by the next financial year, involve the manufacturing and supply of high-capacity transformers and reactors. Transformers and Rectifiers (India) Ltd has announced the procurement of new orders amounting to Rs 252 crore.
The orders, obtained from three private entities, must be executed by the next financial year, according to the company's filing on the exchange.
One order, valued at Rs 91 crore, will involve the production of transformers and reactors ranging from 125 to 500 MVA and 420 kV.
Another Rs 91 crore order entails the manufacturing and delivery of transformers of 250 MVA/400 kV.
A third order, worth Rs 70 crore, covers the production of transformers with a capacity of 50 to 500 MVA/33-420 kV.
The company also assured that there are no promoter or group interests involved in the entities that awarded these contracts.
