Tragic Bus Accident Claims Lives of 27 Indian Pilgrims in Nepal

A devastating bus accident in Nepal claimed the lives of 27 Indian pilgrims from Maharashtra, prompting immediate post-mortem examinations at Bharatpur Hospital in Bagmati province. The bodies are set to be flown back to India, according to a senior official.
The ill-fated bus, part of a 10-day tour, skidded off the highway and plunged into a river, causing the tragic fatalities and injuring 16 others. An Indian Air Force plane is on standby to transport the remains to Nashik, Maharashtra.
Union Minister Raksha Nikhil Khadse and Nepal's Home Minister visited the hospitalized victims in Kathmandu. They acknowledged the collaborative rescue efforts and discussed further medical treatments. Hospital sources report that one passenger remains in critical condition.
