China's aviation regulator reported a notable uptick in passenger traffic for July, with figures reaching 69.14 million trips, a significant 10.8% increase from the same period last year.

During a press conference, the Civil Aviation Administration of China highlighted that domestic passenger traffic witnessed a substantial 19.5% rise compared to July 2019, a period before the global pandemic.

In terms of international travel, the data showed a recovery to 93% of pre-pandemic levels from 2019, accounting for over 6.13 million trips.
