Dabur India to Establish Rs 400 Crore Manufacturing Plant in Tamil Nadu
Dabur India is set to invest Rs 400 crore in a new manufacturing plant in Tamil Nadu's Villupuram district, marking its first major venture in South India. This initiative, formalized via a recently signed MoU, is expected to create over 250 jobs and provide new opportunities for local farmers.

Dabur India, a leading home and personal care products manufacturer, announced on Thursday its plans to set up a Rs 400 crore manufacturing plant in Villupuram district, Tamil Nadu. This marks Dabur's first foray into South India.
The announcement, made by State Industries Minister TRB Rajaa, follows the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between Dabur and the Tamil Nadu government. 'Welcome to Tamil Nadu, Dabur India! This new facility will not only create over 250 jobs but also open up new opportunities for local farmers,' Rajaa said on 'X.'
The plant will be located at the SIPCOT Food Park in Tindivanam, and is expected to enhance the state's industrial growth and provide a work-ready labor force, according to the minister.
