According to a report released on Wednesday, 72 per cent of employers interviewed plan to hire freshers in the second half of this year, reflecting a gradually improving job market.

The 72 per cent hiring intent marks a 4 per cent rise from the first half of this year and a 7 per cent increase from the same period last year, as per TeamLease EdTech's 'Career Outlook Report HY2' (July-December 2024).

'The increased intent to hire freshers is a positive sign, indicating growing employer confidence and new opportunities for fresh talent,' remarked Shantanu Rooj, founder and CEO of TeamLease EdTech.
