IYDF and Best Inn Laundry Service Bring Joy to JANANI HOME for GIRLS

IYDF and Best Inn Laundry Service teamed up to deliver essential supplies and emotional support to the children at JANANI HOME for GIRLS in Pondicherry. The event, led by Kidhar Mohindine and supported by volunteers, created lasting memories of kindness and warmth for the young residents.

The International Youth Development Foundation (IYDF), in partnership with Best Inn Laundry Service, hosted an aid event at JANANI HOME for GIRLS in Pondicherry on August 20. This initiative aimed to deliver essential supplies and emotional support to the children, fostering an atmosphere of warmth and kindness.

Organized by Kidhar Mohindine and supported by volunteers Parveen Banu and Raleena, the event featured a diverse range of items such as rice, black beans, sugar, tea leaves, bath soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, hair oil, face wash, notebooks, pencils, pens, erasers, sharpeners, rulers, school bags, and an assortment of snacks and cakes. These supplies were intended to meet the children's daily necessities and to aid in their education and growth.

The event, which commenced at 7:00 PM, quickly adopted a relaxed and joyous tone. Volunteers interacted with the children through conversations and playful activities, ensuring each child felt the intended care and warmth. Laughter and smiles filled the venue, providing a heartfelt reward for the volunteers.

Reflecting on the event, organizer Kidhar Mohindine said, "There is so much in this world for us to learn and explore. Through this event, we not only provided material help to these children but also learned a great deal from them. Seeing their smiles fills me with a deep sense of satisfaction and contentment."
