Tragic Collision Near Kalyanpur Claims Two Lives, Injures Three

A devastating accident occurred when a truck collided with a vehicle carrying devotees to Maa Sheetla Dham Kada, resulting in the deaths of two individuals and serious injuries to three others, including two women. Police have detained the truck driver and initiated an investigation.

In a tragic incident on Friday, two devotees lost their lives while three others, including two women, sustained serious injuries after their vehicle was struck by a truck. The accident took place near Reliance Petrol Pump in Kalyanpur.

Superintendent of Police (SP) Brijesh Kumar Srivastava reported that 13 individuals, hailing from Govindpur Tiwari village in the Prayagraj district, were en route to Maa Sheetla Dham Kada in a loader truck. During the journey, a trailer truck, attempting to overtake, collided with their vehicle.

The collision instantly claimed the lives of Amarnath (40) and Dinesh (36). The injured have been admitted to Medical College Kaushambi. Officials have taken the driver of the trailer truck into custody and launched an investigation.
