Insecticides (India) Ltd Sees 68.18% Jump in Q1 Net Profit
Insecticides (India) Ltd reported a significant 68.18% increase in consolidated net profit, reaching Rs 49.01 crore in the first quarter of the current fiscal year, compared to Rs 29.14 crore in the same period last year. Total income rose slightly, while expenses decreased. The company announced an interim dividend and saw a rise in share value.
Insecticides (India) Ltd on Friday reported a 68.18% surge in consolidated net profit, amounting to Rs 49.01 crore for the first quarter of the current fiscal year, as per a regulatory filing.
This is a notable increase from the Rs 29.14 crore net profit recorded in the same quarter of FY24. Total income saw a marginal uplift to Rs 659.20 crore from Rs 643.84 crore in the corresponding period last year, while expenses dropped to Rs 593.94 crore from Rs 604.3 crore.
The company also declared an interim dividend of Rs 2 per equity share, with a face value of Rs 10 for the current fiscal. Shares of the company ended the day up 5.90% at Rs 904.65 apiece on the BSE.
