PepsiCo India Holdings has reported a consolidated revenue of Rs 5,954.16 crore and a profit of Rs 217.26 crore for the period from April to December 2023, according to data from business intelligence platform Tofler. The company also recorded a total income of Rs 6,094.70 crore during these nine months.

PepsiCo India has transitioned its financial year from April-March to January-December, releasing its results for three quarters of 2023 accordingly. The company noted that it will adhere to the calendar year as its financial year starting from January 2024.

Revenue from domestic sales stood at Rs 5,533.63 crore, while exports contributed Rs 266.19 crore. The snacks segment, featuring brands like Kurkure, Lays, Doritos, and Quaker, contributed Rs 4,763.29 crore. Beverages, including brands like Pepsi, 7Up, Slice, Tropicana, and Gatorade, recorded revenue of Rs 1,036.53 crore.

Advertising and promotional expenses amounted to Rs 694.52 crore for the same period. A PepsiCo India spokesperson mentioned that the company's performance remained strong despite external challenges, driven by effective marketing campaigns and a focus on productivity. They reiterated PepsiCo's commitment to growth and investment in India.

For the fiscal year 2022-23, PepsiCo India's revenue was at Rs 8,203.19 crore with a total profit of Rs 267.43 crore. Chairman and CEO Ramon Laguarta emphasized India as a key investment area, noting significant growth opportunities in the market. The global parent company reported robust growth in the Indian market during the first and second quarters of 2024.

PepsiCo, which entered India in 1989, has grown to become one of the largest multinational corporations in the country's beverages and packaged foods sector.
