Frankfurt airport in Germany has halted flights due to a demonstration. Passengers are advised to avoid the airport temporarily. This incident follows similar disruptions at Cologne-Bonn airport where climate activists glued themselves to a runway. Other European airports faced similar protest attempts.

Frankfurt airport, Germany's busiest, suspended flights on Thursday following a demonstration, according to their post on the social media platform X.

"Passengers are asked not to go to the airport for the time being," the airport announced.

This incident comes after Cologne-Bonn airport halted flights on Wednesday when climate activists glued themselves to a runway. Similar protests at other European airports were prevented by authorities.
