Porsche India reported a notable 40% increase in retail sales for the January to June 2024 period, totaling 489 units. Robust demand for the Cayenne and Macan models contributed to this significant rise, the luxury sports carmaker stated on Wednesday.

According to Manolito Vujicic, Brand Director at Porsche India, the growing desire for Porsche vehicles in the Indian market has led to a record-setting first half of the year. 'It bodes well for the remainder of 2024 with a brace of more exciting new models set to launch in conjunction with further expansion of the Porsche network across the country,' he noted.

Porsche plans to introduce three new models—Cayenne GTS, 911 sports coupe, and Panamera GTS—in the latter half of 2024, with deliveries starting in the fourth quarter. Additionally, two all-electric models, the Taycan and Macan, are available for order now, with deliveries expected in early 2025.
