United Spirits Ltd Reports 1.7% Rise in Net Profit Q1 FY25
United Spirits Ltd (USL) reported a 1.7% increase in net profit, totaling Rs 485 crore for Q1 FY25. The company's revenue rose to Rs 6,238 crore while expenses increased to Rs 5,619 crore. CEO & MD Hina Nagarajan emphasized the ongoing focus on portfolio competitiveness and long-term value creation.
United Spirits Ltd (USL) on Tuesday reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 485 crore for the June quarter, marking a 1.7 per cent increase from the Rs 477 crore recorded in the same period last year.
The company's consolidated revenue from operations for the first quarter of FY25 stood at Rs 6,238 crore, up from Rs 5,808 crore a year earlier, according to a regulatory filing.
Total expenses rose to Rs 5,619 crore, compared to Rs 5,173 crore in the previous fiscal.
USL CEO and Managing Director Hina Nagarajan noted that the company started FY25 with strong performance, stating, ''Our renovation and innovation offerings are rolling out progressively with an encouraging response.''
Looking forward, Nagarajan emphasized a commitment to long-term competitiveness and value creation, despite a soft demand environment.
