Transportation system issues amid the global tech outage appear to be resolving and will hopefully be back to normal by Saturday, U.S. Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg said, adding that the Federal Aviation Administration did not appear impacted.

"We have no indication of an impact to our own systems in terms of FAA's operational systems, like air traffic control, or most systems within the U.S. Department of Transportation," Buttigieg told CNBC, adding that the administration has reminded airlines of their responsibilities to passengers amid the outage.

The timely resolution aims to stabilize travel logistics and ensure minimal disruption for passengers and operators alike.
