Rajasthan Farmers Receive Rs 650 Crore Under PM-Kisan Scheme

Under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, Rs 650 crore was transferred to the bank accounts of 65 lakh farmers in Rajasthan. Cooperatives Minister Gautam Kumar assured the Assembly of fulfilling all manifesto promises. The scheme's annual financial assistance has been announced to increase from Rs 6,000 to Rs 8,000 per family.

In a significant financial move, Rs 650 crore has been directly deposited into the bank accounts of 65 lakh farmers in Rajasthan, as part of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, announced Cooperatives Minister Gautam Kumar in the Rajasthan Assembly on Friday.

Minister Kumar reaffirmed the government's commitment to fulfilling all promises outlined in the state government's manifesto.

Addressing supplementary questions during the Question Hour, the minister elaborated that the scheme would soon increase its financial assistance from Rs 6,000 to Rs 8,000 annually per family, responding to a previously written question by Congress MLA Manish Yadav.
