The Inner Manipur MP criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi for not visiting the affected areas, stating it shows 'seriousness and indifference' to the suffering of Manipur residents.
Akoijam also condemned Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh for defending Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah, suggesting that Singh is merely protecting the central government while the violence in Manipur continues unabated.
