Delhi PWD Minister Atishi has given the green light for the enhancement and fortification of the road section between Ashram and Bhairon Road T-Point on Ring Road, according to a statement released on Tuesday.

Atishi emphasized the importance of adhering to all safety, security, and quality standards during the upgrade. She added that the Kejriwal government aims to establish a world-class transport network in Delhi by following international guidelines. This road segment, a crucial artery connecting various city regions, will undergo significant improvements to facilitate smoother daily commutes for residents.

The project is part of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's broader vision to elevate Delhi's roads to global standards. Regular inspections revealed multiple surface cracks due to heavy traffic, prompting the need for immediate action.
