A dramatic scam has surfaced in Gujarat, where a man established a sham tribunal and duped people by impersonating a judge, authorities revealed on Monday.

The accused, identified as Morris Samuel Christian, had been running this fraudulent operation for at least five years, primarily targeting individuals with pending land disputes in the city civil court.

Christian, who was recently apprehended by the Ahmedabad city police, faces charges under multiple sections of the Indian Penal Code for cheating by personation and pretending to hold a public servant's office.
