The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission has embarked on a partnership with the Department of Government Efficiency. According to an internal communication distributed on Friday, SEC officials have been informed of the collaboration aimed at improving operational efficiency through this alliance.
The email, which has been reviewed by Reuters, outlined that members of DOGE's task force will be integrated into the SEC's framework. They will be granted similar access to network, systems, and data as SEC employees.
The SEC is establishing a dedicated liaison team to partner with DOGE, emphasizing a commitment to synergize with the task force for enhanced operational activities.
