Maharashtra is poised to establish itself as a significant player in Artificial Intelligence (AI) by drafting an independent policy, according to State IT Minister Ashish Shelar.
During a meeting with IT Department officials, Shelar highlighted the potential of AI to bolster industries, attract businesses, and create jobs, reinforcing Maharashtra's standing in the global AI landscape.
This aligns with the India AI Mission, a central government initiative aimed at enhancing AI capabilities across the nation, involving dataset aggregation and support for AI development by 2025.
