Telecom equipment manufacturer HFCL Ltd has emerged as the lowest bidder for major broadband network contracts under BharatNet Phase III, valued at Rs 13,000 crore, targeting UP East, UP West, and Punjab regions.
The company's strategic bids, as part of a consortium, have secured them the contract to expand internet connectivity, a vital element for bridging digital gaps in rural areas.
