The model, developed by MBZUAI's Institute of Foundation Models in partnership with Inception and Cerebras Systems, offers advanced capabilities in Hindi, serving over 500 million speakers. The release aims to empower India's AI ecosystem, providing equitable access to AI technology in the Hindi language.
Named after one of India's highest peaks, Nanda, with its 10-billion parameters, excels in knowledge and reasoning capabilities both in Hindi and English. This development underlines MBZUAI's commitment to ethical AI advancements and enriching the UAE's knowledge-driven economy.
