Trump's Truth Social Surpasses Musk's X in Market Value
The valuation of Donald Trump's social media firm, Truth Social, has surpassed Elon Musk's X, formerly Twitter. Trump's company, valued at over USD 10 billion, saw a significant increase linked to his improving re-election odds. Meanwhile, X Holds is valued at approximately USD 9.4 billion.
Donald Trump's social media initiative, Truth Social, has achieved a remarkable feat, overtaking Elon Musk's X in market value. The former president's platform has seen a recent surge in the stock value of its parent company, putting its total worth over USD 10 billion.
This dramatic increase is attributed to investors' optimism regarding Trump's potential re-election. The stock of Trump Media and Technology Group (TMTG) more than quadrupled since late September, reflecting growing confidence in Trump's political aspirations.
Despite TMTG's current financial struggles, including a substantial loss in revenue for a recent quarter, its market perception appears closely tied to political dynamics. Conversely, Elon Musk's X Holdings, the rebranded Twitter, now holds a valuation of around USD 9.4 billion, according to Fidelity.
