The Kremlin has denied accusations from the United States that Russia, along with China and Cuba, has spread false information regarding Hurricanes Milton and Helene. This marks the latest in a series of allegations aimed at Moscow for disseminating misleading narratives.
On Monday, a U.S. official claimed that actors linked to Russia and China, as well as the Cuban government, were involved in amplifying misinformation about the two devastating hurricanes. Among the false claims circulating were assertions that the U.S. was rejecting disaster relief applications.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov rejected these charges, stating that it has become a ritualistic trend to blame Russia for various global issues. The diplomatic tension underscores ongoing geopolitical struggles between these world powers.
