Nvidia announced plans to supply its artificial intelligence processors to Indian companies, such as Reliance Industries, as part of its strategy to capitalize on the growing market. The U.S.-based chipmaker will equip Reliance's one-gigawatt data center in Gujarat with its Blackwell AI processors, highlighting a deepening partnership.

The tech giant also intends to distribute tens of thousands of Hopper AI chips, facilitating the expansion of large-scale data centers by firms like Yotta Data Services and Tata Communications. Nvidia's CEO, Jensen Huang, emphasized India's potential to become an AI exporter, transitioning from its traditional software export role.

Indian businesses are increasingly focusing on developing AI models tailored to various languages, driving customer service and content translation initiatives. Despite the nascent stage of its chipmaking industry, India is making strides towards becoming a key player in the global AI landscape.
