This partnership aims to enhance linkages between ASEAN and Indian payment systems through innovative digital solutions.
The recent 21st India-ASEAN summit, attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, emphasized strengthening the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership for regional peace and stability. Both sides committed to peaceful resolutions in the South China Sea, amid ongoing tensions and geopolitical crises.
The collaboration also focuses on extending cybersecurity cooperation and leveraging AI technologies. Plans include expanding telemedicine initiatives and fintech innovations, with the overarching goal of fostering secure and resilient digital economies across the ASEAN region and India.
