Stanford University will host the third edition of the INDUS-X summit on September 9-10 to explore enhancing India-US defence innovation partnerships. According to a release from the US-India Strategic Partnership Forum (USISPF), this year's theme is 'Harnessing Investment Opportunities to Enhance Cross-Border Defence Innovation Ecosystems.'
The summit aims to bring together prominent defence policymakers from Washington and New Delhi, along with startups, venture capitalists, academia, accelerators, and industry professionals. The focus will be on private capital's role in advancing the defence innovation sector, promoting co-production, and creating investment opportunities.
Launched on June 21 last year, INDUS-X seeks to strengthen strategic and defence partnerships between the two nations. Recent agreements like LEMOA, COMCASA, and BECA further underscore the growing India-US defence and strategic ties.
