Minda Corp Partners with Sanco for EV Technology Boost

Minda Corporation Limited has signed a Technology Licensing Agreement with Sanco Connecting Technology to enhance its Electrical Distribution Systems (EDS) product offerings in the electric vehicle (EV) industry. The collaboration aims to develop and manufacture advanced EDS solutions locally in India, strengthening Minda's position in the EV supply chain ecosystem.

Minda Corporation Limited has inked a significant Technology Licensing Agreement with China's Sanco Connecting Technology to boost its offerings in the burgeoning electric vehicle (EV) market. The deal, focused on Electrical Distribution Systems (EDS), aims to locally develop various EV connecting systems and components.

The partnership will see Minda Corp and Sanco collaborate on creating EV connecting systems, charging gun assemblies, and battery distribution units, among other solutions. This move is expected to bolster Minda's standing in the EV supply chain and enhance its vertical integration capabilities within its Wiring Harness Division.

Executives from both companies hailed the agreement as a milestone. Mr. Aakash Minda, Executive Director of Minda Corp, emphasized the commitment to innovative and sustainable mobility solutions, while Sanco's Chairman, Mr. Zhijian Zeng, highlighted the collaboration's role in expanding Sanco's footprint in India. This partnership signifies a strategic step towards offering world-class, technology-backed solutions to Indian automotive OEMs.
