In a significant development, Karnataka's Large and Medium Industries Minister M B Patil revealed that Microsoft is set to sign a Memorandum of Understanding with the state government. The move aims to enhance skills in Generative AI and other cutting-edge technologies.

Following a meeting between Patil and a Microsoft delegation led by Puneet Chandok, president of Microsoft India and South Asia, it was disclosed that the tech giant plans to bring in solution experts. These experts will explore how AI can be integrated into investor support processes within the Karnataka Department of Commerce and Industries.

Microsoft's participation in the upcoming Global Investor Meet was also discussed. The event, scheduled from February 12 to 14 next year, will see Microsoft's senior leaders presenting their latest innovations, as the company collaborates with Invest Karnataka to highlight its technologies during the gathering.
