In a significant business move, Pune-based cybersecurity firm TAC Infosec has announced its acquisition of US-based Cyber Sandia. The deal, involving TAC Security's US subsidiary obtaining 100% of Cyber Sandia's shares in a cash transaction, aims to bolster TAC's presence in the American market.
TAC Infosec, under the leadership of founder, chairman, and CEO Trishneet Arora, revealed that this acquisition will enhance its ability to provide comprehensive security solutions, particularly to the public sector in New Mexico. The US market constitutes a notable portion of TAC's revenue, and this acquisition is expected to close by the end of the month.
This strategic acquisition allows TAC to expand its direct engagement with government clients, thanks to Cyber Sandia's critical agreement with the State of New Mexico for IT professional services. TAC plans to leverage this entry point to pursue similar contracts in other states, further growing its footprint in the US public sector market.
